2. Permitted use

You may use the free content and interactive features of the Site for your own personal, noncommercial education and interview preparation. You may not copy, republish, distribute, sell, license, scrape, or create a competing product or service from substantial portions of the Site unless you have our prior written permission.

3. SQL execution feature

You may use the Site’s SQL execution feature only for its intended educational purpose. You agree not to:

Do not submit confidential, proprietary, personal, or sensitive information through the SQL execution feature.

4. Ownership

The Site and its original content—including its text, exercises, explanations, graphics, branding, downloadable materials, and organization—are owned by Practice Window Functions or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other applicable laws. Except for the limited permissions stated in these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

5. Digital product purchases

What to Say in a SQL Coding Interview is sold as a one-time purchase of a downloadable PDF. Your purchase includes the edition available at the time of purchase. Future editions, updates, or separately released products are not included unless the product page expressly says otherwise.

The product description and checkout page show the price and other material purchase details before you complete the transaction. Applicable taxes and the final amount charged are shown at checkout.

6. Dodo Payments as merchant of record

Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record and legal seller for digital-product transactions. Dodo processes payments, calculates and handles applicable transaction taxes, issues receipts, and administers transaction matters such as refunds, disputes, and chargebacks. Your transaction is also subject to Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms.

Practice Window Functions creates the product, provides the product description, delivers the product, and grants the license described below.

7. Digital delivery

The guide is delivered electronically after successful payment. You are responsible for providing an accurate email address and for downloading and securely storing the file. If you experience a delivery problem, please contact us.

8. Personal license

Your purchase grants you a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to download and use the guide for your own education and interview preparation. You may store the guide on your personal devices and print one copy for your personal use.

You may not share, upload, publish, reproduce, distribute, sublicense, sell, resell, or otherwise make the guide available to another person, except for the one personal printed copy expressly permitted above. Purchasing the guide does not transfer its copyright or other ownership rights to you.

9. Refunds

Purchases of What to Say in a SQL Coding Interview are covered by our Refund Policy. If the guide is not useful to you, contact us within 14 calendar days of purchase to request a full refund. The Refund Policy is incorporated into these Terms.

10. Educational purpose

The Site and guide are provided for general educational and informational purposes. They are not a substitute for professional, legal, financial, employment, or career advice tailored to your circumstances.

11. No guarantee of results

We do not guarantee that using the Site or guide will result in an interview, improved interview performance, a job offer, employment, promotion, or any other particular outcome. Your results depend on many factors outside our control.

12. Third-party services and links

The Site may link to or rely on third-party services, including Dodo Payments. We do not control third-party websites or services, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

13. Site availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the free Site, including exercises and interactive features. We do not promise that the Site will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

14. Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and digital products are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and noninfringement.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

15. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Practice Window Functions and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from or related to the Site, a digital product, or these Terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Site, a digital product, or these Terms will not exceed the greater of $100 USD or the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate your access to the Site if you violate these Terms, misuse the Site, threaten its security or operation, or infringe our rights or the rights of others. If you materially violate the digital-product license, your permission to use the guide may be terminated.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version. Changes apply prospectively when posted. Your continued use of the Site after updated Terms are posted means that you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms deprives you of mandatory consumer protections that apply under the laws of your place of residence.

19. Severability and waiver

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

20. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the applicable product description, Refund Policy, and Privacy Policy, form the agreement between you and Practice Window Functions concerning your use of the Site and digital products. Dodo Payments’ terms separately govern the transaction services it provides as merchant of record.
